'TANALISED' timber has been impregnated with a preservative solution under high vacuum pressure in an industrial vessel. This treatment process ensures deep penetration into the timber cells, for a longer-lasting protective result against fungal decay and insect attack than the application of a surface coating. Pressure-treated timber is leach resistant, ensuring a long and trouble-free service life in a wide range of conditions, and assured performance in sensitive environments such as vegetable plots and areas of wildlife. Desired service lives range from 60 years for internal timbers and 30 years for external timbers such as fence posts in ground contact. The treated timber initially assumes a green colouration, which fades to a honey brown over time and eventually a silver grey. No surface applied product is needed to maintain the integrity of the treatment.

FOR THE FREE FITTING SERVICE your outdoor space MUST meet our following requirements, if these requirements are not met then you are at risk of not receiving our expert fitting service:
- You MUST have a complete, flat, solid level base with either slabs, concrete or decking. Customers wanting to build timber frames or use sleepers must let us know when placing an order.
- You MUST have clear access to your base and allow 7ft 8" of height clearance so the panels can be moved into place. (The shed will not fit under a standard doorway). We can work around this, please call us to discuss any access issues you might have and we may have a solution.
- Sheds are not to be lifted over garages or outhouses by ourselves due to insurance purposes. When placing orders please state any access issues and we will advise on solutions.
- We require 8" clearance all around the building to allow for the roof overhang and the fitting of the facia boards. We realize that some areas are tighter then others but please remember we also need room to work and get the shed fitted for you.
PLEASE NOTE: if you do not have a suitable base or the suitable access at the time of delivery you will NOT receive the free fitting service and your order will be dropped off. If you then require us to come back to erect the shed/summer house then an charge will be applied, price depending on size of shed/summer house and where you live.
12 month guarantee is offered with all our sheds and summer houses (including roofing felt).
If Shedshield is applied we offer an additional 6 month guarantee for water damage (walls only).
Please note as the timber is tanalised pressure treated it is wet and needs to dry out when the building is first installed, this can take anything up to 4 weeks however it could be considerably longer in the winter months.
We advise not using the shed when it is first installed and leaving your doors open to help speed up the drying out process.
Continued care - our buildings do not have any ventilation and it is advised to open your doors at least every 2-3 days to prevent condensation for occurring. If you are not planning on using your building regularly then we strongly advise adding air vents which will help with condensation. We offer the service of fitting air vents at a cost of £30 for 2.

We deliver 6 days a week and our Workshop is open:-
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Saturday and Sunday - Closed
