'TANALISED' timber has been impregnated with a preservative solution under high vacuum pressure in an industrial vessel. This treatment process ensures deep penetration into the timber cells, for a longer-lasting protective result against fungal decay and insect attack than the application of a surface coating. Pressure-treated timber is leach resistant, ensuring a long and trouble-free service life in a wide range of conditions, and assured performance in sensitive environments such as vegetable plots and areas of wildlife. Desired service lives range from 60 years for internal timbers and 30 years for external timbers such as fence posts in ground contact. The treated timber initially assumes a green colouration, which fades to a honey brown over time and eventually a silver grey. No surface applied product is needed to maintain the integrity of the treatment.

FOR THE FREE FITTING SERVICE your outdoor space MUST meet our following requirements, if these requirements are not met then you are at risk of not receiving our expert fitting service:
- You MUST have a complete, flat, solid level base with either slabs, concrete or decking. Customers wanting to build timber frames or use sleepers must let us know when placing an order.
- You MUST have clear access to your base and allow 7ft 8" of height clearance so the panels can be moved into place. (The shed will not fit under a standard doorway). We can work around this, please call us to discuss any access issues you might have and we may have a solution.
- Sheds are not to be lifted over garages or outhouses by ourselves due to insurance purposes. When placing orders please state any access issues and we will advise on solutions.
- We require 8" clearance all around the building to allow for the roof overhang and the fitting of the facia boards. We realize that some areas are tighter then others but please remember we also need room to work and get the shed fitted for you.
PLEASE NOTE: if you do not have a suitable base or the suitable access at the time of delivery you will NOT receive the free fitting service and your order will be dropped off. If you then require us to come back to erect the shed/summer house then an charge will be applied, price depending on size of shed/summer house and where you live.
A 6 month guarantee is offered with all our sheds and summer houses (including roofing felt).
If our Shedshield product is applied we offer a 1 year guarantee for water damage (walls only).
We advise allowing 7-10 days to allow the shed/summer house to settle before overfilling and placing electric and valuable items in the shed/summer house. Please note as the timber is treated it can take 4-7 days to fully dry out once the shed/summer house has been fitted. This may take longer in the winter months.
We ensure we manufacture all of our sheds and summerhouses without using damaged boards or boards with holes. However, during the transportation and installation process, as wood is a natural material, there is a slim possibility of a small fallen knot or something of this description occurring. If this is the case we can only rectify this by using a high grade wood filler once the shed has been erected.

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Saturday and Sunday - Closed
